The Seventh Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival is a week-long celebration of innovators, visionaries, and artists who are shaping small cities. The Festival occurs at dozens of venues throughout downtown Charlottesville.
Mona El Khafif is an Associate Professor at UVA School of Architecture, co-author of ‘URBANbuild: Local/Global’ (with Ila Berman) and author of ‘Staged Urbanism: Urban Spaces for Art, Culture and Consumption in the Age of Leisure Society’ (German edition). She received her professional degree in Architecture from the RWTH Aachen and her doctoral degree in Urban Design from the TU Vienna.
