Jack Prominski is a Master’s Student in Data Science at the UVA Data Science Institute. His research centers around applying NLP techniques to scientific journal articles as part of a capstone project for the Public Library of Science. Prior to graduate school, Jack worked in e-commerce analytics for Gilt Groupe and as a systems consultant for Myers-Holum. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce.
