The Seventh Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival is a week-long celebration of innovators, visionaries, and artists who are shaping small cities. The Festival occurs at dozens of venues throughout downtown Charlottesville.
Carney manages digital content initiatives to grow desktop, and mobile audiences, as well as audience engagement. Previously, Carney worked for the Omaha World-Herald, Des Moines Register and Associated Press. He also has been an adjunct journalism professor at Creighton University in Omaha, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
