The Seventh Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival is a week-long celebration of innovators, visionaries, and artists who are shaping small cities. The Festival occurs at dozens of venues throughout downtown Charlottesville.
Attendees will discuss the history of brewing with fruit and other atypical ingredients, how fruit influences different styles of beer, and how New Belgium utilizes fruit and spice ingredients to tailor to the American craft consumer. The workshop aims to educate participants and alleviate misconceptions surrounding the stigma of fruited beers. Furthermore, customers will be enlightened regarding the merits of craft beer while continuing to build interest in an industry that is increasingly integral to the economy of Central Virginia and Charlottesville in particular. *Note: Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Please bring identification.
