The Seventh Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival is a week-long celebration of innovators, visionaries, and artists who are shaping small cities. The Festival occurs at dozens of venues throughout downtown Charlottesville.
The Broadcast see their collection of music as “a love story.” They formed in New York City, but quickly realized their style and music was suited more for the country - so they picked everything up and relocated to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their “larger than life” tunes capture soul naturally; they soon caught the attention of producer Jim Scott, famed for overseeing Tom Petty and Rolling Stones.
