In two panels, influential political leaders, journalists, and scholars will explore the role of the presidency on the global stage—followed by an assessment of how the White House is doing after 15 months. The all-star panels include John Negroponte, director of national intelligence for Bush 43; Bill Kristol, editor at large for the Weekly Standard; Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress; and William Antholis, Douglas Blackmon, and Nicole Hemmer from UVA’s Miller Center.
